Troy Adams – the President of Troy Adams Design TM is internationally recognized as the creator of FusionDesign TM: the seamless blend of Asian, European and American design for inspired living. Utilizing an exotic palette of natural materials – including basalt and lava stone, bamboo, cork flooring and stainless steel – paired with a minimalist aesthetic – Adams draws his inspiration from his seventeen year tenure in Hawaii as well as his design experiences in Bali, Saipan and Guam. According to Adams, his design theory, much like that of fusion cuisine – is a true blend of East meets West. His spaces are designed for the individual with their unique lifestyle in mind. Following the “Kitchen Within a Kitchen” design concept, Adams has transformed the kitchen into a elegant entertaining space that celebrates cooking, but keeps the unsightly preparation aspects hidden from sight. Adams also employs this design theory in the bathroom space as illustrated in the product design of his Bench Toilet TM : a decorative solution to a typically unattractive fixture.
Adams has designed and built high-end, luxury residential and multi-unit projects across the U.S. as well as in exotic locations including Bali, Saipan, Guam, Norway and Saudi Arabia. As one of Honolulu’s most sought-after designers, he designed professional kitchens for Hawaii’s top chefs and luxury residences before moving to Los Angeles ten years ago to open his second design studio. His studio and showroom is located in the Pacific Design Center and serves as the ultimate inspiration for those looking to incorporate FusionDesign into their project or home. With a strong understanding of kitchen and bath design, Adams’ showroom also depicts his famous kitchen collection and award-winning Julien Bathroom Suite by Troy Adams Design TM.
With over 50 design credits, Adams’ has designed the interiors of some of Los Angeles’ most prestigious homes in locales including Beverly Hills, Santa Monica and Pacific Palisades for celebrity clientele including Eddie Murphy, Jewel and Sela Ward.
